Panels are filling up quickly for Futures Forum 2024, set for Friday 1 March. Only 18 days remain until our fourth edition of the one-day discussion and networking event for the next generation of live music industry leaders. Will we see you there?
Agents vs Bookers
The agent-booker pair joining the lineup is Creative Artists Agency’s Beckie Sugden and Aimée Kearsley, ready to go head-to-head against Wasserman Music’s Alex Hardee and Holly Rowland. The dynamic duos will discuss the inner workings of their partnerships, and be tested on their knowledge of each other and their roster. Marc Saunders (The O2) is set to lead the charge.
The Evolution of the Music Festival
Jamie Tagg (Mighty Hoopla) and Daniel Lawson (GALA Festival / TOGETHERZERO) join this session, in which panellists will envision the future of festivals. Led by Ross Patel (Whole Entertainment / MMF Board), the speakers will question how festivals should be organised and experienced in a bid to come up with new and innovative solutions.
A Greener Future: The Case Studies
From the festival sector, DTD Concerts’ Nikoline Skaarup will delve into NorthSide Festival’s decision to go meat-free more than a decade ago. She’ll add to a wider conversation about tried-and-tested practices for making the live music industry more sustainable. Claire O’Neill (A Greener Future) takes the moderator chair here.
Additional speakers, Soapbox Session topics, and the hotly anticipated Futures Forum Keynote will be announced soon — so stay tuned. View the full schedule here.
