2020 speakers: Live Nation, Paradigm, CAA, ICM, The O2, Solo, Primary, Fullsteam & more

With guest speakers lining up across the Futures Forum schedule, here’s a quick taster of some of those taking part…

Building on Futures Forum’s mission – to bring together the people who define the business today with those driving its evolution – OK, Boomer: Closing the generation gap pairs up senior execs from leading concert businesses with their more junior counterparts to compare experiences and ways of working.

This new-for-2020 session will feature Phil Bowdery & Anna-Sophie Mertens (Live Nation), Scott Mantell & Kevin Jergenson (ICM), and Maria May & Jen Hammel (CAA). With more young people than ever choosing to forge a career in live music, what can they learn from the industry’s leaders, and vice versa?

One of last year’s most popular sessions, Meet the New Bosses 2020 will see a quartet of emerging execs kick off the day with a discussion of their journey to the top, and the skills needed to succeed in the modern live industry. First announced to be joining chair Jo Young (Ticketmaster UK) will be rising stars Matt Pickering-Copley (Primary Talent), Charly Beedell-Tuck (Solo Agency) & Marc Saunders (The O2).

Mental wellness is now a central topic of discussion within the business, as both institutions and individuals begin to put their mental health first. Aino-Maria Paasivirta (Fullsteam Agency), Adam Ficek (Music & Mind (UK). Richard Mutimer (Paradigm) and Joe Hastings (Help Musicians) are all stepping up to join chair Stacey Pragnell (ATC Live) and consider the next best steps to safeguard our workforce in Mental Health: Next steps for live.
