Capitalising on Futures Forum’s ever-popular panel Now That’s What I Call… we’ve decided to keep the brand running all year round.

Each month, we’re asking a set of young and emerging executives to reveal the acts they’ve got their money on in 2024. Find Vol. 1 here.

These executives will share three tracks apiece – both from artists they’ve worked with and artists they haven’t – and share their discovery stories.

In this second edition, we receive submissions from Exit Festival’s Ana Marković (RS), Primary Talent International’s Dotun Bolaji (UK), and AEG Presents’ Chloe Pean (UK).

EXIT FESTIVAL (RS)

KWAYE – Blue Days
I stumbled upon KWAYE during his COLORS performance and was instantly drawn to how he blends R&B with Afrobeat rhythms so seamlessly. Blue Days is a soulful, genre-blurring track that showcases his vocal mastery and raw emotion. Represented by Mind of a Genius, KWAYE is making waves on the indie circuit, captivating audiences with his unique style and sound.

Ana Lua Caiano – O Bicho Anda Por Ali
I first heard about Ana Lua Caiano from a friend, and I was blown away by her unique sound. In O Bicho Anda Por Ali, she mixes electronic elements with traditional influences, creating a captivating blend of textures and rhythms. I’m truly fascinated by how she weaves these styles together, making her music feel both fresh and deeply rooted in culture.

CHINCHILLA – Cut You Off
I heard CHINCHILLA live at a conference, and I was blown away by her voice. In Cut You Off, she brings such power and emotion that it’s impossible not to feel it. Her energy on stage is fantastic, and she really knows how to connect with the audience. The directness of her lyrics hits hard, making the performance unforgettable. CHINCHILLA is definitely an artist to keep an eye on as she continues to rise in the music scene.

Tia Gordon – suitcase of memories
Primary Talent International
I first came across Tia Gordon through her earliest releases in 2022 and was instantly drawn to her effortless ear for melody, roped together with her velvet-smooth vocals. She masterfully channels influence from the golden ages of soul into a contemporary sound, filled with stories of self-discovery and love. Tia’s debut London headline show sold out this November, and she’ll be gracing festival stages, including Cross The Tracks.

Monster Florence – Borstal
Primary Talent International
If you haven’t yet experienced a Monster Florence show, you’re in for a high octane treat! The six-piece rap band combines the raw energy of punk, rap, indie, and psych rock to deliver a unique but distinctively British sound. Following the success of their sold-out UK debut tour last year, the band is back with a UK/EU tour this autumn, culminating in a show at London’s Scala.

Quinn Oulton – Lead You to Water
Primary Talent International
Quinn Oulton is nothing short of a standout musician. With deep roots in jazz, he pens relatable stories, set to a forward-thinking blend of contemporary R&B, alt-pop, and soul that leave you with a moreish feel in your ears. After completing his debut UK/EU tour last month, he’s set to release an EP later this month — expect to see his name on your favourite bills!

Remy Bond – Star Shaped Baby
CAA
I came across Remy through word of mouth and the moment I started digging feel in love with her. Her vision is so matured for such a young and new artist and I’m incredibly excited about her… keep your eyes peeled!

BETWEEN FRIENDS – Really good cry
UTA
These guys are on tour with Conan Gray in the UK & Europe at the minute and are SO good live and on record. I’ve been a fan for several years and we have their sold-out Islington Academy on 11 November, which is going to be amazing. They have so much music out to dig into and can’t recommend their entire discography enough.

Gigi Perez – Sailor Song
Wasserman

This song is simply gorgeous (and a number 1 single!). We had her at All Points East for Haim and did a small headline back in 2023 and we just knew it was a matter of time. Her voice is unmistakable and cannot wait to keep seeing her thrive!
