Through their Dissecting The Digital Dollar project, the MMF have spent five years advocating for greater transparency in recorded music, empowering artist managers and their clients to understand the commercial dynamics of streaming.
Plans are afoot to repeat this process with live music, and to start a conversation around all issues of concerns or interest – be that the environment, access to data, ticketing, line-up diversity, or improved access for disabled customers.
As well as understanding the most important issues facing artists, managers and those across the live business – we also want to identify individuals making positive changes, and to hear what they’re doing.
In this closed door session, MMF General Manager, Jayne Stynes, and Adam Webb, manager of the FanFair Alliance campaign against exploitative online ticket touting, will host a discussion with ILMC and Future Forum delegates.
They will be joined by industry experts including Keychange Outreach Coordinator, Francine Gorman, Rich Legate from Attitude is Everything and Artist & Tour Manager Kirk Harrington.
